The IFS School of Finance is a registered charity and has a remit to provide the financial services industry with a skilled and competent workforce while also promoting a better understanding of finance amongst consumers. The ifs is the only specialist financial education body that is able to award its own degrees, a status that reflects the quality of its work.
The Senior Management Team wanted to review how effectively they worked as a team and to identify opportunities to develop team work further.
To achieve this, we facilitated a one day event using the Team Management Systems Profile to measure the inherent strengths and weaknesses of the team.
This enabled the management team to gain a deeper insight into how their team worked, and the inherent working preferences of each team member.
In addition we linked the team development work with a training session on giving and receiving feedback to improve communication and interaction between managers.
