Dave Marchant
Dave is a Fellow of the CIPD and has spent 30 years in the field of coaching, development and training. He worked as Group Training Manager for WH Smith before setting up Developing People Limited 12 years ago. Dave started his career in HR and Operational Management and more recently has been a non executive director to a number of businesses such as där Lighting Ltd and The Marketing Store Worldwide.
Dave specialises in leadership and executive coaching and originally developed the C.O.A.C.H model that is used by all our coaches, and has personally coached over 100 senior managers and managing directors. He has worked with a wide range of public, private and non for profit organisations to help them improve the performance of their managers, work teams and ultimately their organisations.
Mark Evenden
Mark has considerable experience of enabling individuals and organisations to improve their performance, both as a line manager and consultant. He has worked with a wide range of organisations in the private, public and non for profit sectors, and has personally trained and coached over 500 people.
Prior to working for Developing People, Mark was Operations Director with both Ladybird Books and Johnson Matthey, where he was responsible for the business’ manufacturing, logistics and customer service functions. Mark also spent 6 years consulting with Coopers and Lybrand, supporting FTSE 200 companies to improve their performance and profitability.
Mark does not preach, lecture or prescribe the answers to his clients. He works in partnership with them to provide the solutions they need. Ultimately, he wants to make a difference to his clients in a demonstrable and measurable way.
Sue Brown
Sue’s primary objective is to help businesses become as efficient and effective as possible. She has extensive experience of working with companies of all sizes and has been able to help them by offering impartial, practical and pragmatic advice and/or through the delivery of bespoke training programmes. Sue recognises that sometimes goals or objectives are difficult to achieve due to lack of time or resources available. As an independent observer she can see what goes on, and make suggestions, which are sensible for the circumstances of the business. She does not bring in magic formulae or big manuals but uses her years of experience working in businesses with real people, working to impossible deadlines. Knowing that businesses are striving for optimum levels of efficiency and profitability, whilst maintaining trained and motivated employees, she has been able to help businesses through a wide range of effective planning, control and/or people development activities.
Stuart Graham
Stuart is a chartered member of the CIPD and has spent 20 years in the leisure & hospitality sectors. He worked in HR and operational management positions for National Garden Festivals before moving into leisure consultancy.
He advises, supports, coaches & trains mangers, supervisors and front line staff and has particular expertise in: people management, customer service development, communication skills, operational management and HR.
Steve Hilton Steve has over 35 years managerial experience within financial services, predominantly in the mortgage and customer services field. He has worked as a manager at branch, regional and head office level and prior to joining Developing People spent 6 years as a member of the Executive Management team with Cheshire Building Society with specific responsibility for the mortgage and investment service teams.
Steve has considerable operational management experience as well as experience of leading and facilitating teams responsible for successfully implementing change programmes. He is passionate about the importance of developing managers at all levels within an organisation in order to improve individual, team and ultimately corporate performance.
